Grinding Power Leveling Guide

This is the first part on power leveling by grinding and power leveling by questing. We first look to power leveling by grinding and its pros and cons.

For me, by the way, the only and best way to power level is by questing but there are a lot of world of warcraft gamers that prefer grinding thinking that it takes them to level 60 or 70 quicker.

What is grinding first of all. Grinding the way I understand it, and I am pretty sure I do, is the process of killing monsters in the game to gain experince points (abbreviated as XP in most world of warcraft guide and in the game) that progress you from one level to the next till you hit the maximum level which is 60 for the normal game or 70 if you upgrade to the Burning Crusade. Also as you kill monsters and loot you gain drops to sell or to equip your character which also helps you level up faster as your character becomes stronger and stronger.

Grinding sounds great till you try it. It is, without question, really dead boring! However the gurus will advise that this is the quickest way to reach the end game parts of the game accessed by levelling up to level 60 or 70, and to gain the best equipment ( if you are lucky) and make money when you sell those green, blue and even rare epic purple items which mobs can have but it's more of a lottery than a certainty that they do.
